Cuttlebug Cards
Have Cuttlebug, will play! I have a stack of images lying around just waiting to be used on cards and this teddy was one of them. He's been covered with Sailor Glue and then Fuzzy Flock was liberally poured on. It was then left to dry for an hour or so, then brushed off, leaving the bear with a fuzzy feel! The background was, believe it or not, the scrap paper that was under other things I'd been sponging with pigment inkpads and sponges. It made such an interesting background, that I couldn't 'bear' to throw it away. The card front itself was put through the Cuttlebug with the textile folder.
This PXS Rose was given to me years ago by my card making friend, Lynne Finaughty. I've coloured it in with good ol' pencil crayons (which is a bit tricky when the image is embossed!) I love the flat pearls, they just finish it off nicely.
This train was also embossed and also coloured in with pencil crayons. I was most chuffed to find square gemstones as the match the Cuttlebug background and angular image so nicely. I used one of the Distress Inkpads for the edging - picked up colour on a sponge, spritzed the sponge with a bit of water, then wiped it all the way along the card, which by the way, was originally white. I gently chalked it with a bit of cottonwool & the brown chalk.
This is the same bear that I used on my post the other day, which I also coloured in with pencil crayons. I love the Cuttlebug button border and the teeny weeny button brads. My friend Jools also made one just like this in Casual Club the other day, except she made it with blue. It was also stunning!
